The Nathan Project

This video is a walkthrough of our game The Nathan Project developed in Unity.

Premise: Set during the 1980s, the Nathan Project takes place in a run down apartment where you (the player) are tasked to clean out your brothers apartment. As the player cleans the apartment, it becomes evident that something is amiss in this old apartment where the players brother has died.

• The game was created by a team of 5: Nathan Huynh, Nathann Latimore, Nathan Stern, Lance Mendoza and Gurkirat Saini.
• I was in charge of the visual design of the game which include lighting, modeling, texturing and level design.
• My inspiration for my visual design came from P.T. from Konami and Visage from SadSquare Studio.

Challenges with development:
• Their were lighting issues, which I had to figure out how to resolve in Unity. To resolve the lighting issue I added more of dynamic fog which added more brightness to the game.
• Their were also unrealistic development plans towards the end of the game. As it was a group project, I respected what others wanted, even with the poor implementation of the end.
