Logline: A guy falls madly in love with a girl he’s never meet and she thinks his totally weird.
The Simp was my Undergraduate Capstone Animation film. It took 10 weeks to create the CG environment and a few more for the character’s rigs. Another 8 weeks for the CG animation. Everything was made and rigged by me.
This dance animation short is video referenced from Ed Sheeran’s music video, Thinking Out Loud featuring a song by Edwain McCain I Could Not Ask for More.
The rigs are from Cogswell Caroline and Troung CG’s Ape Skeleton Rig.
Environment and animation were inspired by Georges Bizets, Carmen.
